Race Comments

Mr. Fantasy is set to make his much anticipated return in a "three other than" allowance on Thursday at Gulfstream. We don't want to disrespect some of our foes, but this really looks like a three horse race. Mr. Fantasy will be bracketed by his two top challengers, and both these horses look like legitimate runners. Formidable exits a win in a "two other than" allowance last time, but jockey Edgar Prado jumps to the other contender. Formidable has not recently paired up two top figures back-to-back. However, he does love this track. If his regression after a big race holds in this case, then he might be in tough.
The other main contender is Not For Money. However, this six-year-old has been off since May of 2008. This is a tough spot to return in off a 22 month layoff. His figures were huge, but is he the same horse? Dutrow must like him, but Dutrow is not as good off this long a layoff as he is overall. He could be very tough or not the same.
Mr. Fantasy will show speed. He does not know the lead, but he will be second or third early at worst. If we run back to his three-year-old form with natural progression as a more mature horse, then he should run big.

If you have been following the racing in the UK over the jumps at the big Cheltenham Festival there was a big price winner a son of the historic Fourstars Allstars .
