Thursday, February 25, 2010

"Mr. Fantasy breezed a spectacular half-mile in 49.45 today and he galloped out five furlongs. The work was 6th of 28 at the distance. The work could not have been more beautiful. Mike is still looking to get the racing secretary at Gulfstream to write us a comeback race in the first half of March."
"Phosphorescent came out of his breeze over the weekend well. We entered him for a conditional claimer on Saturday, but the race did not get used. We are looking at other races as the racing secretary did not make it clear he would use the race again."
"The Defense Rests was a little foot sore after his last breeze, but it was only a day or two thing. He is scheduled to have an easy breeze this week, but the weather forecast is bleak for the next few days. Mike would like to get an easy work into him when the track is good. If everything goes well, then we should be ready to begin looking for a race."
