"The Defense Rests' foot was stinging him again on Monday morning. Mike went ahead and had the farrier put glue on shoes on him to help release the pressure on the foot. Mike thinks this will help him tremendously and we will see a difference within a few days. There are no structural issues with this horse; it just looks like he is a bit sore due to the hard ground. Once the weather clears up a bit, Mike thinks this minor foot issue will be nonexistent. He will jog for a few days with the new shoes before galloping again. We are anxious to get this horse to the races, and understand that this is a frustrating fork in the road since we think this horse has talent. Luckily, there are no major issues."
