Phosphorescent will look to score his second straight victory in a "two other than" allowance on Saturday at Philadelphia. The race drew a full field of ten, but Phosphorescent looks very well spotted. He is the morning-line favorite in the race, and it appears several horses in the race look entered in case the race comes off the turf. However, the forecast looks good, so we should stay on the turf.

Phosphorescent drew an inside pace, so that might complicate things a little bit, but we expect to be forwardly placed no matter what. The rail horse has gone badly off form and does not look like a threat, but he likely will hustle hard from the gate. If he goes to the front we'll let him go. The likely second choice, Hero of the Sea, also can show speed. However, he has been facing softer of late. He fits in the race and should not be too far back. The most interesting entrant might be Seven Shooter, who enters off two wins in Texas. He knows one way to go and one way only. He is going to go for the lead and see how far he can carry them.

If the race unfolds as expected we'd like to be tucked away inside early behind a hot pace and look to make a bid coming out of the turn to grab the lead in the stretch and hold off the deep closer. This looks like a great spot to come right back and win.
