Workout
Brave Monarch worked four furlongs out of the gate in 50:05 (35 of 49) on Sunday morning at Palm Meadows. “We breezed him on the dirt so he could earn his gate card. This colt is very professional in the starting gate and broke sharply. He worked in company with one of my three-year-old fillies and finished a few lengths ahead of her. He is moving forward. I’ll get him back on the turf for next week’s breeze. A few more turf breezes, and then we will talk racing.”
