Photos from Aqueduct
Mr Fantasy was well behaved in the paddock today coat looks nice but looks like he lost some weight over the winter and time off .
He run really well again before having a bobble in the deep stretch and allowing Dr W to come back and take the race ( a brave horse to battle back like that ) and tiring again towards end of race .
It was a vast improvement over his last start and should move forward with more workouts and race fitness and hopefully mentally fit to re-capture his old form

Great race! Really liked Ramon's ride on Mr. Fantasy. He is coming along nicely after that long lay-off. Love this colt, three of us who are big fans were watching on MSG and on the phone at the same time discussing his race. We will make a trip to see him run sometime this year.

ReplyDeleteAny word on his Beyer figure for that race?
ReplyDelete92 Beyer
ReplyDeleteQuality Road is pointed towards the Met Mile. Is this still a goal for Mr. Fantasy, considering he would have to jump 15-20 Beyer points to be ballpark? I realize the shape of the race comes into play and Mr. Fantasy's early fractions might break Quality Road. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, I've been covering Mr. Fantasy's adventure from his first race onwards to friends and family and co-workers. Video clips, his races, workouts, and trackside pictures I've taken. Any chance of having my picture taken with Mr. Fantasy?
