Sky Afleet worked a half mile in company in 50:59 (19 of 22) on Monday at Belmont. “He’s gotten better and better with each work,” said Tom. “He was under a little bit encouragement from the rider down the lane, but I thought he finished up well.”
After the work Tom noticed some inflammation in Sky Afleet’s left front tendon. Soft tissue expert Dr. Annette Leroux will evaluate this horse and scan the tendon within the next few days. More to come.
Honeysuckle Vine is entered on Tuesday 2nd at Finger Lakes MSW going 5 1/2 hopefully this time she will get in and out of the gate with no issues
