Updates

Brave Monarch worked four furlongs in 52:50 (47 of 48) on Saturday at Palm Meadows in anticipation of his debut in the maiden special weight going 1 mile on the turf on Friday, March 4th at Tampa Bay Downs. Graham will likely breeze him on the turf next week as a final tune-up for the race.

The Defense Rests’ foot bruise is still causing him irritation. Mike’s blacksmith has been trimming the bruise (located in the sole of the foot) little by little to see how deep it goes. It isn’t likely that this is a serious issue, but is something that we’ll have to let run its course. We’ve had issues with foot bruises in the past, and it looks like this horse has tender feet. He responds well to the glue ons, and we’ll be aggressive in trying to remedy this. The blacksmith is due out every few days to trim the foot.

Phosphorescent is on target to ship to David McKathan’s farm in Florida within the next week or so.

Mr. Fantasy is on target to ship to David McKathan’s farm in Florida within the next week or so. He remains on schedule to resume training on or around April 1st.

Six Zeroes is at Highcliff Farm and is due to Foal ( Freud) mext month
