Selena finished 8 of 10 at Finger Lakes today well beaten and was claimed for $7500.00

"Mr. Fantasy's cuts from the Decathlon are still on the mend. Mike reports that the areas are healing, but have not shrunk to the point that he feels comfortable taking Mr. Fantasy back to the track. Mike does not want to expose the area to dirt and bacteria by training this colt. He thinks he will be ok to resume training in another 5-6 days."

"Phosphorescent worked four furlongs in 48:87 at Philadelphia. Lupe was pleased with the work. He did not ask him for an abundance of speed, and just wanted him to go out and get some air into his lungs. There was a race at Monmouth over the weekend that Lupe considered, but he thought the race was too quick back after Phosphorescent ran huge at Pimlico. Lupe is pointing him for a 'two other than' allowance going five furlongs on the turf on June 26th at Philadelphia. Lupe would enter if an extra race was written earlier than the 26th, but he is ok with waiting to run until then because he thinks this horse runs well fresh."

"The Defense Rests was entered in a maiden special weight to be run on June 5th at Belmont. However the race did not go. The racing secretary brought the race back for Wednesday, June 9th and it did not go again. The racing secretary brought the race back again for Thursday, June 10th at Belmont. We reenter tomorrow."
