Sky Afleet had his second round of PRP therapy on his tendon. He’s due to start a light jogging routine in a couple weeks. Per the last update, he’s on target to resume full training this summer.
It’s important for a horse to remain in a light exercise program when recovering from a soft tissue injury to keep their blood flowing. It’s important for there to be bloodflow to the limbs to promote healing and alignment of the tendon fibers.
