Updates
Sky Afleet breezed three furlongs in 37 and change over the weekend at Kirkwood. “I was very happy with the breeze, but he went just a bit too fast early,” said Kip. “I kept him without company for a few weeks to get him to settle. Now I’m reintroducing other horses with him on the racetrack and trying to get him to relax. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great thing that he’s eager to run, but at this point in his education, learning how to settle and rate is huge.”
Sky Afleet is scheduled to join Tom Albertrani’s string later this month.

Update
Sky Afleet breezed three furlongs in 40 and change on Friday at Kirkwood. He’s moving really well, and has been full of energy in his training. Says Terry, “This is a solid colt. Physically he’s quite mature. He’s got a good mind on him, but tends to get excited when he gets on the racetrack. We’ll give him a few weeks to settle before shipping up to Tom A.”
